Disaster Recovery in the Cloud
The Problem

The solution has the ability to fail over and run in the cloud and the ability to recover servers in a matter of minutes to ensure business continuity.
nScaled’s product offers centrally managed monitoring and analyzing capabilities for disaster recovery readiness testing. nScaled has since been acquired by Acronis for its superior disaster recovery capabilities.
The Goal
The goal was to create an interface where a super user could easily monitor all data within the organization and know cloud storage capacity across all of a company’s accounts. The interface we designed allowed the administrator to see a quick overview of all the vital statistics and to easily drill down into information from a simple dashboard interface.
The Process
Over the course of two years, we researched our customers needs and implemented designs that met their needs. Our design process was highly iterative and user testing was conducted before and after each major release. After three years in business, nScaled was acquired by Acronis.
